Program of the All-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical advanced training

We invite academic and research staff of higher education education and scientific institutions, practitioners, undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral students, and all interested in modern challenges and potential of the agriculture sector with a soil moisture deficit in coping with threats of domestic food security to participate in the All-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical advanced training.

February 24, 2022, changed the life of our country forever. We came to a new life – in the war that significantly affected every life sphere, including the agriculture sector. Thus, together with the Institute of Climate Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, we decided to organize the scientific-pedagogical advanced training to elucidate modern challenges and potential of the agriculture sector with a soil moisture deficit in coping with threats of domestic food security.

The professional program of advanced training is based on the latest scientific approaches to the organization of adult learning, achievements of psychological-pedagogical, social, and behavioral sciences. It is focused on the development and advancement of legal, psychological-pedagogical, communicative, communication competencies, as well as practical skills and attainments of interactive communication and professional-personal growth to improve professional communication and the implementation of teaching activities.

All participants will be provided with a collection of abstracts and an electronic certificate.

The workload of advanced training consists of 6 credits ECTS (180 hours) and distributes 6 hours each day for 6 business weeks.

The event includes three ZOOM lectures:

29 September, 14:30, lecture “Creation of new high-tech varieties and hybrids of strategic crops to ensure food security of Ukraine and the world in wartime and post-war recovery. Speaker – Marchenko Tetiana Yuriivna, Doctor of Agriculture, Senior Research Associate, Head of the Department of Crop Breeding of the Institute of Climate Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

6 October, 14:30, lecture “Climate-oriented technologies for growing crops on irrigated and non-irrigated lands in the war and post-war periods”. Speaker – Zaiets Serhii Oleksandrovych, Doctor of Agriculture, Senior Research Associate, Head of the Department of Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies of the Institute of Climate Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

13 October, 14:30, lecture “Adaptive approaches in the formation of modern agricultural systems amidst global climatic and socio-political changes. Speaker – Rudik Oleksandr Leonidovych, Doctor of Agriculture, Associate Professor, Leading Researcher at the Department of Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies of the Institute of Climate Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

A link to the online lecture will be sent to all participants after paying participation fees. Online lectures will be saved. 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Participation form: remote.

Persons who are interested in participation should before September 16, 2022 (inclusively):

1) fill an application form;

2) send a copy of payment confirmation to Organizing soc@cuesc.org.ua (the coordinator provides you with payment details when you fill in an application).

NB!

From September 19 to October 30, 2022 (inclusively), during the advanced training, participants should send research-methodological abstracts to soc@cuesc.org.ua.

RE: Agriculture advanced training.

Participation in the scientific and pedagogical advanced training without research and methodological report is impossible.

After December 2, 2022, every participant will receive a collection of abstracts and a certificate via e-mail indicated in the participation form.
