Program of the All-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical advanced training

We invite academic and research staff of higher education and scientific institutions, practitioners, undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral students, and all interested in pedagogy to participate in the All-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical advanced training.

The professional program of advanced training is based on the latest scientific approaches to the organization of adult learning, achievements of psychological-pedagogical, social, and behavioral sciences. It is focused on the development and advancement of economic, psychological-pedagogical, communicative, information-communicative competencies, as well as practical skills and attainments of interactive communication and professional-personal growth to improve professional communication and the implementation of teaching activities.

All participants will be provided with a collection of abstracts and an electronic certificate.

The workload of advanced training consists of 6 credits ECTS (180 hours) and distributes 6 hours each day for 6 business weeks.

Oleksandr Kozynets – PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Speech Therapy and Speech Psychology, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (Kyiv, Ukraine);

Nadiia Senovska – PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Education Management, Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Founder of the Education Volunteer Project “Patriotic and Not Indifferent” (Ternopil, Ukraine);

Tetiana Tron – PhD in Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Germanic and Romance Languages of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic and Ukrainian Philology, Kyiv National Linguistic University (Kyiv, Ukraine).

The event includes three ZOOM lectures:

November 24, 14:30 – lecture “Teacher’s professional self-regulation during the war”. Speaker – Nadiia Senovska – PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Education Management, Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Founder of the Education Volunteer Project “Patriotic and Not Indifferent”.

Nadiia Senovska about her lecture: The lecture is devoted to the activation of the audiences basic knowledge about teacher professional self-regulation, digestion of relevant information, and stimulation of shaping of self-regulation mechanisms amidst constant stress (caused by the war). We will discuss the importance of the conscious use of specific self-regulation skills during stressful situations: it is essential to pay attention to the signals and needs of own body, feel them, and not “be lost” in negative; to grasp and accept own fears and emotions and go through them; to focus on rendering and implementing effective professional decisions. Ways of improving self-regulation mechanisms, involving four basic options relevant to wartime, will be considered separately.

December 1, 14:30 – lecture The correct use of specific terminology towards persons with disabilities and societys attitude toward relevant persons in different time frames”. Speaker – Oleksandr Kozynets – PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Speech Therapy and Speech Psychology, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.

Oleksandr Kozynets about his lecture: “During out meeting we will discuss the public attitude towards persons with psychophysical development disorders in different periods: from the Kievan Rus till now; trace terminological transformation and catch the development of public tolerance towards persons with disabilities. The lecture will also provide the terminology correct for people with autism, visual and hearing impairments, etc., and basic knowledge about the relevant categories of people which everyone should have.

December 8, 14:30 – “Innovative information technologies as a means of the accelerated learning of foreign languages”. Speaker – Tetiana Tron – PhD in Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Germanic and Romance Languages of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic and Ukrainian Philology, Kyiv National Linguistic University.

Tetiana Tron bout her lecture We will discuss modern technical means for online and offline learning foreign languages (as exemplified by English) and analyse the solid capacities of innovative technologies which facilitate the assimilation of materials, spark interest in the learning process and accelerate the study of foreign languages. In addition, during the lecture you will familiarize yourself with interactive techniques which can be useful for other pedagogical practices”.

Participation form: remote.

Persons who are interested in participation should before November 11, 2022 (inclusively):

1) fill an application form;

2) send a copy of payment confirmation to Organizing advanced_training@cuesc.org.ua (the coordinator provides you with payment details when you fill in an application).

NB!

From November 14 to December 25, 2022 (inclusively), during the advanced training, participants should send research-methodological abstracts to advanced_training@cuesc.org.ua.

RE: Advanced training on pedagogy.

Participation in the scientific and pedagogical advanced training without research and methodological report is impossible.

After January 27, 2023, the collection of abstracts and certificates will be sent to the postal addresses indicated in the form.
