Dear colleagues!

Since 2015, Ukrainian-Polish scientific forums have been held alternately in Lviv (Ukraine) and Olsztyn (Poland) by the joint efforts of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Lviv Polytechnic National University and the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury. The organizers make efforts to combine scientific events, during which Ukrainian and Polish scholars have the opportunity to present research results, with the impact on the social environment. Therefore, diplomats, representatives of central government and local self-government, civil society, the Polish national minority in Ukraine and the Ukrainian minority in Poland are involved in scientific forums.

Unfortunately, the VI Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum due to the Covid-19 pandemic was held a year late and remotely. Given that russia launched the second phase of the war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the VII Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum will be held online, as the organizers want scientific cooperation, despite hostilities, to continue to unite researchers from Ukraine and Poland, as well as from other states.

We invite scientific and pedagogical workers, representatives of public authorities, who in their research, teaching or professional activities consider the issues of Ukrainian-Polish relations, as well as all interested in European integration in its broadest sense, to participate in the VII Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum.

The forum will be held through the J. Monnet Project ERASMUS+ “EaP – Initiative –opportunities for Ukraine” № 619891-EPP-1-2020-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE.

TOPICS:

  • The Eastern Partnership – what’s next?
  • The European Union – existing developments and prospects for enlargement.
  • NATO as a defense alliance: overcoming threats to security in Europe and the world.
