RESTORATION OF UKRAINIAN REGIONS

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Purpose of the Conference bringing together scientific and educational community, businesses and authorities to communicate key ideas and issues concerning restoration, reconstruction and economic transformation of the Ukrainian regions affected by war.

Relevancenecessity to harmonize the Ukrainian educational, scientific and innovative environment by identifying effective mechanisms for mutually beneficial cooperation of all the stakeholders of the regional economy; the urgency of changes in training professionals capable to generate innovative ideas and efficiently work in an increasingly diverse environment; the importance of preserving regional identity and uniqueness.

Objectives:

– cooperation development of scientific, educational, business and public circles to ensure better conditions for regional recovery;

– providing stronger involvement of the general public in presenting the postwar future of the Ukrainian regions and shaping the public’s vision of the desired postwar regional communities;

– searching for mechanisms for integrating and implementing adapted communication tools to determine professional competences required for the country’s recovery;

– determining ways of targeting challenges faced by the Ukrainian higher education system in the context of regional post-war revival.

Representatives of the scientific and educational community, businesses and business associations as well as authorities and public sector are welcomed to participate.

SUBMISSION STREAMS:

The Conference Programme Committee welcomes presentations and papers from a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives; submissions and oral presentations are organised into the streams listed below:

  1. Leadership and Human Capital Development for the Post-War Revival Processes in Ukraine.
  2. Cultural Diplomacy in Wartime and Postwar Period: Culture, Art, and Visual Communications.
  3. Construction, Architecture, and Design in the Post-War Restoration of the Human Environment.
  4. Regional Aspects of Public Administration in Ukraine in the Post-War Period.
  5. Socio-Economic Aspects and Management of Regional Development in the Context of Post-War Revival.
  6. IT Decisions for the Regional Economy Post-War Restoration.
  7. Entrepreneurship and Trade: Realities and Prospects in Modern Environment.
  8. Renovation, Reconstruction and Modernization of Manufacturing Enterprises, Power Engineering Companies, Municipal Utilities, and Infrastructural Facilities.
  9. Land Based Infrastructure and Inland Waterway Rehabilitation Projects – New Opportunities and Training for Professionals.
  10. Ukrainian Agricultural Sector – Challenges and Prospects for Development.
  11. Innovative Technologies in the Light Industry, Food Production, Chemical, Perfume, and Cosmetic Industries.
  12. Education and Qualifications System Transformation Targeting the Needs of IDPs and Veterans.
  13. Development of Women’s Leadership as an Important Factor Addressing Challenges of War.

Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.        

Form of participation: remote.

Participation is free of charge.

Presentation Formats: 

Oral Presentation at Plenary Session (20 minutes),
Oral Presentation at Panel Sessions (15 minutes),
Panel Discussions (10 minutes).

The Conference Programme Committee is calling for abstract submissions.

Abstracts accepted until April 12, 2024, and to be forwarded to email: rebuilding_ks@kntu.net.ua.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS:

35 pages, font Times New Roman, 14; interval 1.5; margins 2 cm on all sides. UDC, the full name of the author(s), academic degree, title, position, organization, city, and topic of the report. Abstracts will be published in a separate collection.

The author will receive the collection in pdf format. Articles for specialized scientific journals of Kherson National Technical University and Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University are welcomed.
