Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences of Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine) and the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland) continue to accept applications and materials for the VI Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum until December 31, 2020.

FORUM THEMATIC DIRECTIONS

  • Prerequisites and genesis of the European Union’s Eastern Policy development.
  • Aims, tools and main implementation forms of the EU Eastern policy.
  • Prospects for the development of EU cooperation with its eastern neighbors (foreign policy and security; economy and trade; education, culture and interpersonal contacts; democratization and internal reforms; regional and cross-border cooperation; decentralization and development of local communities, etc.).
  • Poland’s contribution to the development and implementation of the European Union’s Eastern policy.
  • Baltic states European integration experience: conclusions for Ukraine.
  • Eastern Partnership as a key initiative of the EU Eastern European policy.
  • Prospects for the development of EU Eastern policy in context of contemporary geopolitical challenges.

FORUM INCLUDES

  • The role of Central and Eastern European countries in shaping and implementing the EU’s Eastern policy.

Editorial and technical requirements (abstracts)

  1. Text editor – Microsoft Word; file format .DOC or .DOCX; page size: A-4; all fields – 20 mm; font size – 14; The first line indent is 5.
  2. Times New Roman font (for all text, including links).
  3. Information about the author: in the upper left corner: in bold type the name and surname, as well as the lower link (with scientific rank, degree, name and surname, educational institution – the name of the institution, e-mail). At the end of this text, the center must include the name, telephone number and postal address, which will be removed from the text during the layout process.
  4. The title of the article: in large letters, in bold, alignment – in the center.
  5. Volume of the main text: 4-5 pages. Texts that significantly violate the volume will not be allowed to print!
  6. Links are set at the bottom of the page and numbered.
  7. References at the end of the main text are given in alphabetical order without numbering.
  8. Tables, drawings, diagrams, etc. should be submitted separately in jpg or pdf formats with high quality and resolution, black and white, transparent and attentively prepared.

  7. Volume of the main text: 22500-25000 symbols including summary. Texts that significantly violate the volume will not be allowed to print!
  8. Links are set at the bottom of the page and numbered.
  9. References at the end of the main text are given in alphabetical order without numbering.
