in the VI Congress of Orientalists which will be held on 25-26 November 2022 at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism, V. I. Vernadsky Taurida National University, online.

The following events are scheduled:

The first day of the Congress (November 25)

– Cultural and historical heritage of the Near and Middle East

– Cultural and historical heritage of the Asia-Pacific region

– Cultural and historical heritage of the peoples of the Great Steppe

– Historical and cultural heritage and modernity of the Crimea

– Ideological and religious concepts of the East

– Modern economic, political, and cultural processes in the Near, Middle, and Far East

– Eastern motifs in European discourse.

– Oriental studies in today’s media

The second day of the Congress (November 26)

Second Research and Practice Seminar « Crimean Tatar language »

– Popularize the Crimean Tatar language and promote the brand “#Qırım tili is cool”

– The Crimean Tatar Language: Modern Language Teaching Methods in Educational Institutions

To register for the Congress, you should:

  1. send to the email address editor@oriental.vernadskyjournals.in.ua abstracts in Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar, Turkish or English. The name of submitted materials should include the author’s surname and initials (for example: Kushnyr TM_Abstracts).
  2. fill out the form at the link or QR-code

Deadline: November 22, 2022 (inclusively).

Participation in the Congress: Regarding the martial law and the online format of the Congress in 2022, the Organizing Committee decided to exempt participants from the registration fee.

Publication of the congress collection of abstracts is free of charge thanks to the partner support of “Helvetica” Publishing House. Distribution of the collection of abstracts will be made one month after the event.

The participants, who fill the registration form, receive access to the online platform of the Congress.
