In terms of the scientific and pedagogical internships initiated by Cuiavian University in Włocławek and supported by the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation, outstanding specialists have presented online English lectures on July 8.

Mykhailo Vikhliaiev, Doctor of Law, Professor, Director of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation, has started the event.
He has welcomed all the participants and expressed gratitude for their active interest in our projects, and emphasized the importance of lifelong learning these days. XXI century is the time of rapid development in any sphere, and thus, it is essential to keep on new prevailing trends. We have cooperated with Cuiavian University in Włocławek since 2018. It is worth mentioning that among all activities organized by foreign higher education institutions, events initiated by Cuiavian University in Włocławek unite most Ukrainian scientists.

Dr Marcin Miziołek, certified coach, mentor, has taken the floor and focused on the topic “Mindfulness – bringing one’s attention in the present moment without judgment as a more and more popular approach in Western Europe”. Emotions are an integral component of any person. Each of us not only influences the world but also perceives it differently; therefore, it is crucial to understand and be able to interpret various responses to the outside world. Dr Marcin Miziołek, in his interactive lecture, has provided tips and tricks which are handy to everyone and explained how to understand emotions better which can help manage crises. The speaker has also discussed the significance of the here-and-now approach and clarified whether one should hide his negative emotions. Emotions and our response to them are the core element of functioning, and thus, mindfulness is treated here as a base for wellbeing and self-regulation.

Mgr Joanna Skiba, Expert in Adult Education and E-Learning, has continued today’s online lectures covering the relevant topic “Learning success-from theory to practice”. Do you know how to make learning not only advantageous but also gripping? Can e-learning be effective? How did technologies emerge in the modern world? Can learning bring will afford pleasure? What are the components of modern education? Mgr Joanna Skiba has answered all the above and many other questions.
