Today’s speakers were mgr Joanna Skiba, Head of International Office, Expert in Adult Education and E-Learning of Cuiavian University in Wloclawek (the Republic of Poland) and dr Marcin Miziołek, Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of Cuiavian University in Wloclawek (the Republic of Poland), Certified Coach and Mentor.
Their online lecture was entitled “Active culture: how to understand and enjoy culture and its positive effect on our welfare”. What does the concept “active culture” mean? Reporters interpret it as an ability to initiate changes in ambiance, forecast and generate new sound knowledge, support the freedom of actions. In other words, it refers to an ability to “make lemonade when life gives you lemons”, as wrote an American educator, writer and motivational speaker Dale Carnegie. As for the current influence of culture on life, this approach supposes that despite vast data flow in mass and social media, one should find something useful for the development, inspiring and calming. Lecturers shared methods and techniques which can contribute to the above. During the ZOOM meeting, mgr Joanna Skiba та dr Marcin Miziołek paid attention to the comprehension of cultural heritage and its interpretation.
Thus, it is necessary to state that the participants obtained much relevant and valuable knowledge for understanding culture.
