The better half of modern society is at the industrial and postindustrial stages of development. Throughout scientific and technical progress, the role of science, engineering technologies in the human life activities has raised that is manifested in gaining pace of the socio-economic development, creating and improving technosphere. Sci-tech innovations influence a shift in the role of engineering sciences in society.
The above has been the very reason for Cuiavian University in Wloclawek under the assistance of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation to initiate the writing of a collective monograph “Scientific and technical progress in European countries and the contribution of higher education institutions”. The findings presented in the monograph are characterized by a diversity of theoretical developments and applied problems of engineering sciences and ways for their solving. The publication is a result of the work of the authors’ team united by a shared idea to present their research data:
