On November 27-28, 2020, the distant international scientific and practical conference “Cultural studies and art criticism: things in common and development prospects” took place. It was organized by the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation and Ca’ Foscari university of Venice.
Participants of the conference discussed topical issues and challenges related to the development of culture studies, including the following:
- history theory and philosophy of the world culture studies, its problems;
- museum and monument studies;
- matters of film and television arts and modern media culture;
- fine arts and design.
The event caught the interest of scientists. In general, more than 170 representatives of art and culture communities took part in the conference. Among them there were honoured members of the scientific world, as follows:

- Pecheniuk Tamila Hryhorivna, PhD in Arts, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Costume Design, Head of the Department of Textile Arts, Lviv National Academy of Arts;
- Ulianova Viktoriia Stanislavivna, Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Musical and Instrumental Training of a Teacher, «Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy” of Kharkiv Regional Council;
- Chuprina Nataliia Vladyslavivna, Doctor of Arts, Professor, Professor at the Department of Costume Design, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design;
- Iakovets Inna Oleksandrivna, Doctor of Arts, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Design, Cherkasy State Technological University.
