On January 27-28, 2017, the international scientific and practical conference “Development of Legal Regulation in Eastern Europe: Experience of Poland and Ukraine” was held. The event took place, thanks to the joint work of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation and the Humanities and Natural Sciences University in Sandomierz (Sandomierz, Poland).
The prospect of the EU membership is a strategic guide for Ukraine’s aspirations for transformation and a key goal for which, reforms are being carried out. Therefore, the experience of European countries in the sphere of legal regulation development is very important for Ukraine. Poland is a state in Central Europe, which is a member of many international organizations, including the European Union. The legal regulation of the Republic of Poland undertakes to protect respect and realization of the rights and freedoms of citizens, and Polish residents, the laws and principles of social life and social justice.
The Humanities and Natural Sciences University in Sandomierz was founded in 1995. Currently, the university is recognized as the second on level of academic and research activity non-state university in Poland. The goal of the Humanities and Natural Sciences University in Sandomierz is the training of highly skilled personnel in accordance with the needs of the growing economy in the countries of the European Union. The Polish university constantly collaborates with other countries in the field of scientific research, in particular with Ukraine.
The international scientific and practical conference “Development of Legal Regulation in Eastern Europe: Experience of Poland and Ukraine” was conducted with the purpose of sharing experience in the field of legal regulation between these two European countries. More than 150 Ukrainian researchers, postgraduates, students of HEI and research institutes as well as practitioners, who are actively involved in research in the field of jurisprudence, participated in the event.
