The science of ancient, dead languages originated in the XVII – XVIII century and was closely associated with the past culture: language, literature, history, philosophy and art. Nowadays, philology is a complex science which is dynamically changing. To unify all knowledge, on October 30-31, 2020, the scientific and practical conference «Challenges of philological sciences, intercultural communication and translation studies in Ukraine and EU countries» was conducted in Venice (Italy) under the support of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation.
More than 100 scholars, postgraduate candidates and students of the leading higher education institutions and establishments as well as practitioners, who are actively engaged in philological research, joined conference activities, as follows:
