In the epoch of strong intercultural networking, the interest in modern linguistics, problems of the conceptual framework of different national communities, as well as the clarification of ethnical specifics of the sphere of concepts of various lingual cultures, is growing. The above encouraged Ca’ Foscari University of Venice to initiate the writing of the collective monograph «Challenges and achievements of European countries in the area of philological researches» together with Uzhhorod National University and under the support of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation.
The publication was an outcome of the team efforts of the authors who shared a common idea to present their findings. They are as follows:
