A collective monograph on social sciences elaborated by Polish university was published

University of Economics in Stalowa Wola (Wyższa Szkoła Ekonomiczna w Stalowej Woli) in collaboration with the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation elaborated a collective monograph “Social sciences: perspectives for the development in European countries at the beginning of the third millennium” authors of which were scientists from Ukraine. Activities on monograph’s formation began in October 2018.

In order to prepare papers for publishing, authors were proposed the following area of research:
• Social sciences in theory and practice;
• New searches in the sphere of general history, anthropology, ethnography;
• Methodology of political science;
• Modern view of social institutions and processes;
• Topical issues of international relations and foreign policy;
• Philosophy and Religious Studies.

The collective monograph is composed of nine individual articles prepared both by authors personally and in co-authorship. Each of the authors will receive three copies of the publication and a certificate of participation in collective activities.

Avdieieva Olena Serhiivna, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of History and Philosophy of Faculty of Humanities and Economics of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, wrote the article “Missionary activity of the Orthodox Church in the Northern Azov (the end of the 18th – the beginning of the 20th century)”, which was devoted to the study of history of the missionary activity of the Orthodox Church on the Northern Azov in the late 18th and early 20th centuries. The author analyzed the general tendencies of the religious policy of the Russian Empire and their influence on the formation of a religious map of the Northern Azov.

Beilin Mykhailo Valeriiovych, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Scientific Associate, Professor at the Department of Humanities of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, together with Semenova Yuliia Anatoliivna, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Humanities of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, presented the article “Communicative practices and nominative vocabulary in the subculture of sport”. The authors highlighted the philosophical and anthropological and cultural factors of self-consciousness formation of the individual and found out that the basis of the process is the axiological and dialogical dimensions of human existence, their system consolidation through communicative practices.

Hazniuk Lidiia Mykhailivna, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Humanities of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, and Karpets Liubov Anatoliivna, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Humanities of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, introduced the paper which is devoted to the linguistic and cultural content of language and linguistic basis of socio-cultural cognition of sports activities. Authors conducted the philosophical analysis of sports activities in the intellectual discourse of civilization transformations of modernity in the context of the communication process as a principal translation of one language-activity into other. Article’s topic is “Linguistic and cultural dimension of sports activities as a sphere of linguistic praxeology”.

Kadol Oleksandr Mykolaiovych, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Engineering Pedagogy and Language Training of Kryvyi Rih National University, in his individual article “Modern vision of anti-German campaign in years of the Great War” considered historiography of anti- German campaign in years of the Great War.

Kostiuk Maiia Volodymyrivna, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social and Human and Legal Disciplines of Uman National University of Gardening, coauthored with Harbar Olha Petrivna, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social and Human and Legal Disciplines of Uman National University of Gardening, presented the article “Formation and development of scientific research on agriculture in Uman Agricultural Institute (at the end of the 19th – during the 20th century): historical and scientific aspect”. The article considers historical and scientific analysis of the process of forming and developing scientific research of agriculture of Uman Agricultural Institute in historical context. Special attention is paid to the main research activities of S.S.Rubin, Professor in Horticulture and Irrigated Agriculture, outstanding scholar and agronomist.

Lazariev Oleh Viacheslavovych, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Instructor at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages of Uman National University of Gardening, and Fernos Yuliia Ivanivna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages of Uman National University of Gardening, studied a model for forming professional communicative competence of future experts in agriculture in their article “A model for forming professional communicative competence of future experts in agriculture on the basis of the competence approach”.

Muliar Volodymyr Illich, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of Zhytomyr State Technological University, submitted the article “Harmony problems in Ancient Greek philosophy” for publication in the collective monograph. The article deals with harmony phenomenon which since ancient times of European history was one of the problems focusing on the search a of basis for all things existent, universal and definitive reasons for infinite being. The author analysed viewpoints of outstanding representatives of Ancient Greek philosophy who not only directly used the term “harmony” but also conceptually talked about it. Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Plato, Aristotle are among them.

Chepurko Hulbarshyn Iskakivna, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Head of the Department of Social Expertise of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in cooperation with Piddubnyi Volodymyr Andriiovych, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Senior Research Associate at the Department of Social Expertise of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, studied a civilizational choice as the main step in the innovative organization of the socio-economic life of society, modernization of political democracy, development of culture as a humanistic component of civilization in the article “Civilization choice of Ukraine”.

Shediakov Volodymyr Yevhenovych, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Candidate of Sciences in Economics, Independent Researcher, elaborated the article “Social level of information influence: strategic culture and management compositions” for monograph’s publication. The author considered the social level of information communications as the study object and correlation of objective and subjective parameters of their transformation as the subject.
