Today, on 1 July 2021, Oleh Holovko, PhD in Economics, Director of Helvetica Publishing House, Head of the Supervisory Council of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation, and Artem Petryk, author of books, met with His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine. During the audience, Oleh Holovko and Artem Petryk have had the honor to present the book “The era of great hopes: essays on the history of interwar Lithuania (1918–1940)” to the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
During the meeting, it has been discussed the role of the Ukrainian church in the future joint projects focused on communication between Ukraine and the Baltic countries”.
Attention has also been paid to successfully implemented projects in which the Orthodox Church of Ukraine actively cooperated with Klaipėdos universitetas.
His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine impressed the guests with his democracy, hospitability, erudition, and comprehensive knowledge of the history of Ukrainian-Lithuanian relations and history of the Ukrainian diaspora, including the Far East.
We hold out hope for our Ukrainian-Lithuanian projects.
