On June 28–29, 2019, in Baia Mare (Romania), the conference on social sciences “KEY ISSUES OF SOCIAL SCIENCES: PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE AND EU COUNTRIES” was organised by North University Centre of Baia Mare with the support of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation. Ukrainian scientists participated in the event remotely.

All Ukrainian participants of the conference are provided with a collection of conference abstracts and a certificate of participation affixed with the seal. The participants of the conference have the opportunity to present the collection and the certificate as confirmation of their participation in an international conference that took place in the EU country. The collection is awarded ISBN (International Standard Book Number) by a European publishing house.
A certificate is a document confirming the participation in the activities of a conference (congress, symposium, workshop), which took place in EU country, according to paras. 5.2, 7.3 of Section 2 of the Procedure for Awarding of Scientific Degrees to Research and Academic Staff”: the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science dated January 14, 2016, No. 13.
