The Executive Board of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation took part in the celebration of an important event for Romanian scientific community – “XXIX Academic Days of Arad”

At the invitation of Koralia Adina Kotorachi, Rector of “Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad (Romania), and Daniel Berlingher, Dean of Law Faculty, the representatives of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation took part in the celebration of an important scientific event for Romanian scientific community – “XXIX Academic Days of Arad” on May 8–9. This year, the celebration was dedicated to the memory of Professor Aurel Ardelean, who was the founder of “Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad and devoted a significant part of his life to the development of the higher education institution. Scholars from Bulgaria, Bhutan, Georgia, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine were present at the conference.

Dmytro Bielov, Director of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation, made a solemn speech and greeted conference participants as well as expressed his hope for further fruitful cooperation.

During the meeting, Director of the Center invited Romanian scholars to participate in the International scientific and practical conference devoted to the celebration of the 5th anniversary since the foundation of “Visegrad Journal on Human Rights” (learn more about the conference).

The parties agreed upon the perspectives of internships implementation for scholars from Ukrainian HEI in “Vasile Goldis” Western University. In addition, the Executive Board of the University in Arad put forward the idea of the need to encourage students from both countries to take part in exchange programs.
