On October 28-29, 2016, the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation in the context of cooperation with Danubius University organized International scientific and practical conference “Priorities and strategies for development of jurisprudence in global science” at the premises of Janko Jesenský Faculty of Law of Slovak university.
Despite the fact that Danubius University is situated in a small city Sládkovičovo, the Slovak Republic, it is recognized as an international university which is open and motivating space for the constant exchange of ideas and values. The University promotes the development of knowledge and innovation providing a unique experience in study, research and development. At present, the University consists of three faculties –Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Studies and Faculty of Public Policy and Public Administration.
Scholars, post-graduate students, students of HEI and research institutes as well as practitioners, who are actively involved in legal research, were invited to participate in the International scientific and practical conference “Priorities and strategies for development of jurisprudence in global science”. More than 200 participants from Ukraine showed an interest and desire to take the part in the event.
The participants of the conference prepared reports on various areas of legal science: theory and history of state and law, philosophy of law; constitutional law; civil law and procedure, international private law; economic law and procedure; labour law; land, agrarian law; administrative law and procedure; finance law; criminal law and criminology; criminal procedure and criminalistics; international public law, European Union law.
On completion of the event the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation prepared a collection of abstracts. All Ukrainian participants were provided with the collection and a certificate of participation authorized by seal of Danubius University, which confirms a participation in the activities of academic conference in EU country according to 5.4 Procedure for awarding academic ranks to research associates and academic staff approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 14, 2016 No 13.
