Thanks to joint activity of Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Poland, a joint monograph “Development and modernization of pedagogical and psychological sciences: Poland’s experience and perspectives of Ukraine” was prepared. The publication came out in October 2017.
Maria Curie-Skłodowska Universit is one of the largest, most famous and most prestigious Polish state universities; it was founded on October 23, 1944. At present, more than 20 thousand students study at the university, on three educational levels: undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate. Each year, the university is ranked among the ten, most prestigious educational institutions in Poland. HEI has 11 faculties, which include 39 directions and more than 120 specialities.
The publication was a result of activity of team of authors, connected by a shared idea to present the results of their investigations, related to development of pedagogical and psychological sciences. The monograph contains materials in Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and English. The writing of the joint monograph was conducted by scientists, lecturers, and post-graduate students, among them also were: Velytchenko L.K., Doctor of Psychological Sciences, and Professor, who prepared the article ““Deployment” as a general principle of the implementation of the mental”, Hrytsai N.B., Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, “Methodological preparation of future lecturers of biology in the universities of Poland and Ukraine: comparative analysis”, Vykhrushch V.O., Associate Professor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Humeniuk S.V., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, presented the article “Technomatic approach to the formation of productive pedagogical thinking of future lecturers of physical culture, by virtue of innovative technologies”, and others.
The monograph was published by the European publishing house “Izdevnieciba” Baltija Publishing (Riga, Latvia) with awarding of UDC and the ISBN number to it, which allowed the authors to take part in the joint scientific work, published in the European Union country. Each author received a certificate of participation in the writing of the joint scientific work.
