On October 19–20, 2018, the International Multidisciplinary Conference “Science and Technology of the Present Time: Priority Development Directions of Ukraine and Poland” took place in Wołomin.
Event organiser is Z. Gloger Wolomin International and Regional Cooperation University, and the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation is the representative of the Organising Committee for Ukrainian participants.
The University of International and Regional Cooperation chose Gloger as its patron, who was Polish historian, anthropologist, and ethnographer. The university has been performing since 2005. The establishment is a member of the Federation of University Agglomeration in Warsaw (FUAW). The purpose of the Federation is the development of the academic potential of higher education institutes which are part of it as well as the attraction of EU financial resources for successful activities. Federation’s task is the international scientific activity which is implemented by virtue of the collaboration with academic centres around the world.
The papers of various research areas were presented at the conference:
1. Psychology and pedagogy;
2. Public administration;
3. Medical sciences;
4. Natural sciences;
5. Engineering sciences;
6. Social sciences;
7. Juridical sciences;
8. Social communications;
9. Philological sciences;
10. Science of culture.
Upon conference completion, the participants receive a postal item with the collection of abstracts and certificate of participation authorised by a seal.
The collection will be awarded ISBN (International Standard Book Number) by a European publisher, and the certificate is a document which confirms participation in a scientific conference (congress, symposium, and workshop) implemented in the EU country in accordance with p. 5.2, 7.3 Section 2 of Procedure for awarding degrees to research and academic staff approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 14, 2016, No. 13.
